What are content pillars?

The fundamental content that you talked about or create for your business.

What is the niche that surrounds your business?

Content pillars help you become an expert in your business as this helps your content stand out in a vast space of similar professionals. This is why branding is important as I discussed last week.


How do you narrow down your content pillars?

What do you need to be known for when people interact with your content?

You need a minimum of 3 content pillars to a maximum of 5. Don’t let your content pillars be too many as you will stretch yourself thin in the long run.

Let it be your zone of genius, what do you love to do?


How do the content pillars help in terms of social media marketing?

Sticking to your content pillars helps you build authority in your business.

You are able to attract the right target audience because they are going to know the content you are creating is for them and connects with them.

You will never run out of content because your audience will always have questions.

Don’t do content compression as you will deviate from your pillars and end up attracting the wrong audience.

Be patient as it takes time to build authority and grow as a content creator and business owner.
