Have you ever asked yourself how to add more personality to your marketing? I want to share with you 4 ways that you can add more personality to your marketing and your business.

One of the resources I share is my friend and Instagram Coach, Allison of The Boss Lady in Sweatpants.  If you are not following her on IG you should – https://www.instagram.com/allisonscholes/

Be sure to use your personality in your business.  You are the “face” of your business and, not always but sometimes, if someone sees you doing as you should and marketing yourself, but you’re not being authentic and true to yourself, they may be hesitant to support you in your business by becoming a customer or client.

4 ways you can add personality to your business

1 Tell Stories

This will help people to really see your personality.  It helps them to understand you more.

By storytelling, you can connect with your audience on a more personal level.  You’ll be seen as a real person versus simply just another brand.  They can catch at least a glimpse of the person behind the brand and connect with you on a deeper level.

2 BE YOURSELF (Always)

Your personality sets you apart in marketing simply because, though some people may be similar to you, there is no one in the whole wide world just like you and there never will be!  That, in itself, sets you apart from the masses without trying.

3 Use photos of yourself.

By using photos of yourself, not only do people get to see your personality but, they get a quick look into your life as well.  People can get a pretty good idea of who you are as a person simply by these small looks into your life.  They can see if you’re outgoing, kind, etc.

It’s almost as though you are inviting them to join in your journey right by your side.  They are able to celebrate your accomplishments right along with you.

4 Branding

What is your brand identity? Does that identity allow your personality to shine through?

Your brand is SO much more than just your logo, your colors, or your website layout.  Your brand is the ENTIRE experience that you give to your customers/clients.

5 Pieces of your brand

  1. Story and values
  2.  Your ideal audience
  3.  Brand message
  4. Brand voice
  5. The visuals
